Wristbands for Cystic Fibrosis was set up in memory of James Apter.
James was born with cystic fibrosis and was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in April 2011. James fought hard for 5 months battling his cancer, but tragically lost his battle on the 8th September 2011, aged just 9 years old.
Although James had cystic fibrosis, he was never severely ill with it and was a considerably healthy child. James was a very popular and considerate young man who loved helping others. We are trying to keep his memory alive by raising funds that will support other families and fund vital research into treatments for cystic fibrosis.
